And it's bigger this time.After HeartBeat Run, the series opener that kicked off RUN FOR REAL earlier in March, MNL City Run is gearing up for its second leg: the Aqua Run 2026: The Coolest Way to Run with Purpose.Happening on July 26, 2026, Sunday, at Filinvest City, Alabang, Aqua Run also returns in its second year with the same splash-soaked energy that made its debut unforgettable; this time with deeper roots and a cause that hits closer to home.The event features four race categories (3K, 5K, 10K, and 16K) and is open to runners, families, and anyone who believes that a good run should leave the world a little better than they found it. Expect a water-blasted course, a festival-style finish, and the kind of atmosphere that makes even non-runners want to lace up.This leg of RUN FOR REAL is centered on one element that every runner depends on and every community cannot live without: water. On race day, hydration stations will line the course, a small but vital reminder of what keeps bodies moving and spirits high. But Aqua Run 2026 goes beyond the course. It draws attention to the millions of Filipinos in remote and underserved areas who still lack reliable access to safe drinking water. To bridge that gap, a portion of the proceeds will go to the event's charity partner, Waves4Water Philippines, a non-profit organization working to bring clean water access to isolated and disadvantaged communities across the country.
